Individual instruction is at the heart of the ISM program and is
available to students of all ages and abilities from beginners to
advanced levels. With weekly ISM instruction, combined with
commitment on the part of students and family support, progress can
be rapid. Students experience the excitement and satisfaction that
comes with full understanding and performance of great works of
music. Our professional teaching staff is dedicated to making your
child’s learning experience stimulating and fun. Teachers use a
creative and nurturing approach that makes music enjoyable for your
child. We offer private lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes in
classical, jazz, popular, rock, folk and world music styles.
Students can start private lessons any time of the year or month so
there’s no need to wait to get started. Therefore, after an initial
consultation with our Admissions office, the private lesson student
is assigned to a faculty member whose teaching style most closely
complements the student’s learning style and personality.
