ISM is located in Bethesda, off River Rd (between Little Falls Rd and Goldsboro Rd), across the street from Whole Foods, and next to the Giant Store on Westbard Ave. The Beltway exit 39 (River Rd) is 3 minutes away, making it convenient to communities from Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia.

 
From Washington DC:
Head north on Wisconsin Ave, turn left onto Western Ave, then right on River Rd. OR head north on Massachusetts Ave, take a right onto Western Ave and a left onto River Rd. Once on River Rd, go about 1/2 mile past Little Falls Parkway, then turn left onto Ridgefield Rd (United Bank is on the corner). The Westwood Center II is on the left.
 
From the Beltway:
Take the River Rd, exit 39 towards Washington. Head south on River Rd for about 2 miles, turn right onto Ridgefield Rd. Westwood Center II is on the left.
 
Public Transportation:
From Friendship Heights Metro Station take Metrobus T2, (for schedule call 202.637.7000) or Ride-on bus #23 (for schedule call 301.217.7433) The distance by bus is about 7 minutes. If one wishes to walk from the metro, it is about 20 minutes. Buses stop minutes from the ISM on River Rd and Ridgefield Rd.
 
Accessibility & Parking:
The Music School may be entered from Ridgefield Rd. The FREE parking is available in front of the Westwood Center II building or on the 3rd floor of the building. The Music School is handicapped accessible.
