Administrative Staff Employment Opportunities

 

Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Status: Part Time, weekday afternoons 3:30-7:30pm, Saturday 9 am—2pm

Pay Rate: commensurate with experience

Starting Date: immediately

Location: Bethesda, MD

Description: Perform clerical and administrative tasks while also providing outstanding customer service in environment which requires excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. To benefit this organization and act as the school’s first point of contact with potential and existing students. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist new students in choosing appropriate classes/instruments.

  • Help with completing necessary registration forms, and input data to generate new accounts.

  • Process, update student files & organize according to established office procedures.

  • Provide information to new clients about our program, and respond to numerous inquires on phone and in person in a helpful and courteous manner.

  • Assist in coordinating school events, activities, recitals, exams, auditions…

  • Provides a welcoming presence in the office with students and parents.

  • Assists in recruitment.

  • Fosters productive working relationships and serves as a liaison between faculty, students and head office.

  • Help with general office work.

 

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.

  • Relevant work experience.

  • Computer skills a plus (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access…).

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Comfortable to work independently or as a part of a team.

  • Advanced communication, time-management and organizational skills are required.

  • Requires an individual with integrity, positive attitude, punctual work habits, loyalty and dedication. The individual also has to be reliable, responsible, and dependable.
