"Footprints form in different ways. At times, when the soil is moist and malleable, footprints leave a clear imprint in the earth. According to the weather conditions, the print may dry and last a long time,. Other prints are more difficult to make because the soil is hard and resistant to change. Where some prints may barely form or wash before we even see them, others are so lasting and deep they result in paths that carry us into new territory." –anonymous
